Privacy Policy

We collect the following information when you use the App:

• Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password, collected when you create an account.
• Content you provide — files, images, and documents you upload for processing, and the audio files we generate for you.
• Usage data — basic information about how you use the App, such as which features you access and when jobs are queued or completed, used to operate and improve the service.
• Device push token — if you opt in to push notifications, we store a device token so we can alert you when your audiobook is ready.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
• Send push notifications about your audiobook generation jobs (only if you opt in)
• Respond to support requests you send us
• Detect and prevent abuse of the service

We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We work with the following third-party services to operate the App. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and session management (supabase.com/privacy)
• Google Gemini — AI processing of your book content. If you provide your own Gemini API key, your content is sent to Google under your account and subject to Google’s privacy policy. If you use our trial credits, content is processed under our account per the same policy.
• RevenueCat — in-app subscription and purchase management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
• Backblaze B2 — cloud storage for your uploaded files and generated audio
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — app distribution and in-app purchase processing

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your uploaded files, generated audio, and personal data within 30 days. Push notification tokens are removed immediately upon sign-out or account deletion.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Session credentials are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage. File transfers between the App and our servers use TLS encryption.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you through the App
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time via App settings
• Opt out of push notifications through your device’s notification settings
• Request a copy of your data or ask questions about how it’s used by contacting [email protected]

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service evolves. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects when the current version took effect. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
